Death creates room for new life. As the organism breaks down it provides nourishment for the life around it. Death is part of a cycle not a true end. Samhain celebrates these things and is an opportunity to remember loves ones that have passed on, share their stories, and connect with loved ones still with us.

The Harvest Moon reaches it’s peak on the 9th and then wanes. Restarting the cycle, the Hunter’s Moon begins on the 25th. New moon is a great time for reflection, intention setting, and evenings in nature.
